U8 - U9 Fall 2021 Season Tryout Info
Schedule
All players (both returning and new) should click the 'sign up for tryouts' on our player portal to get in the system for the upcoming season. New players can also email us (info@seattleceltic.com) with a short paragraph on their playing experience.
Players should arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the tryout.
Following tryouts we will touch base via telephone/email to invite players to their respective teams for the season. We will follow this up with an email containing all the relevant info including a registration invite via the player portal.
Age Group Overview
2012 Boys
We also currently have 11 teams at this age group for the Spring 2021 season. Nine teams play in the PSPL Development League program and two teams play in our Pre-Dev program.
2013 Boys
We currently have 7 B2013 teams for the Spring 2021 season. Five teams play in the PSPL Development League program and two teams play in our Pre-Dev program.
2014 Boys
We currently have 7 B2014 teams, all of whom participated in our Pre-Dev program in the Spring 2021 season.
For the Fall 2021 season, since the youngest age group in the league we play is 2013, the 2014 league teams would play up in this division. Playing up a year may not be the best fit for all 2014 teams though, and so we will have these teams initially play in the Pre-Dev program for the Fall, with a view to playing in the league come Spring 2022 (first games are Feb 2022). As always, we will make our decision based on what is best for the long-term development of our players.
2015 Boys
The majority of 2015 players will be invited to be part of our Pre-Dev program, with a few 2015s playing up at 2014 if we think it is the right fit for their development.
2012 Girls
We currently have 4 teams for the Spring 2021 season. Three teams play in the PSPL Development League program and one team plays in our Pre-Dev program.
2013 Girls
We currently have 5 G2013 teams for the Spring 2021 season. Two teams play in the PSPL Development League program and three teams play in our Pre-Dev program.
2014 Girls
We currently have 4 G2014 teams, all of whom participated in our Pre-Dev program in the Spring 2021 season.

Extra Information
One of the unique things about Celtic is that we also hold a January tryout to adjust player placement based on development and so new players should be aware that they will have another opportunity to move to a higher level team at this time. Players performing well on their teams will also have opportunities to guest with higher level teams over the course of the Fall season.
